Anubha’s Anubhav at Splitsvilla…

How does it feel being eliminated?
It definitely doesn’t feel gud as life in Splitsvilla was so much fun, so different n so full of suprises, all that spice n drama which u usually miss out in daily life. All those competitions, cat fights, bitching sessions, getting ready, tryin 2 luk ur best, all those Bajate Raho sessions… ooh!! It was gud, am gonna miss everything bout Splitsvilla.

But sometime I even feel that it was O.K. that I got out of the game @ dis point of time, as it was getting dirtier day by day… The girls over here r extra smart n it seems 2 me as if nothing in there life is as important as winning dis game. The accusations, blames & fights r gonna get bigger & dirtier. Some girls r becoming over-abusive & shameless.

So it’s cool with me dat am leavin @ dis point of time, coz I dun want d mudslinging thing happening wt me 4 no reason. Although the stakes r very high I can’t stoop that low to go that high.

The reason for my elimination.
The only reason behind my elimination for which Varun is responsible, is his fat n rotten brain which refuses 2 work or help him 2 make a right or even a sensible decision. He’s so damn brash, he’s one Godforsaken, malnutritioned, thin-waisted bozo! He’s one hypocrite who himself @ one point of time is gonna say, “Oh! I luv d way u dance.”

“I like ur attitude,” ” I like d way u carry urself.” N then @ d dumping ground just to look cool he says, “Sorry, babes, I dun find anything in u.” Duh! Feel like throwing cat shit on his Halloween mask which he considers his face. One piece of advise 4 him- U duffer, utilize the heavy thing placed above ur shoulder called a “Brain”; it will help!

Pick from the two boys?

Even though I dun like any of the guyz much, but even then if I had 2 choose I would go 4 Vishal, as I think there is a bit of similarity between us, as he’s a bit sensitive, sensible, unexpected, likes whacky things, likes adventure, flying n heights, caring but demands more care comparatively, shy, fun loving. We do share some common interests. I like his decency & calmness. I like guyz who r decent, classy, a bit wild, fun loving, a bit flirty, humorous, n wit some etiquettes (am preparing my ad 4 d matrimony section. He he!) This is the reason why I wud choose Vishal.

Who has the best chance to win?
According 2 me d girl who has fabulous acting skills will win d show. Coz after coming 2 d show I realized it’s near impossible 2 “fall in love” wit d boyz in d given choices, u might gel along nicely, u may connect nicely but 2 fall in love, NEVER! Love doesn’t happen like dis, lust does. As for d girlz I would say that they r very gud at pretending, good players, n some of ’em wud go to any extent 2 win d show n d prizes. They have d least interest in d boyz, as they say “Oh! Am here 4 a relationship, I am falling 4 him.” N wat rubbish, it’s just d prize money n d show which interests ’em. There is nothing wrong in being here 4 d prize or publicity or whicheva ur interest is but at least dun DISGUISE it with d word love.

Do not fake it up!!

Your friends in Splitsvilla?
In Splitsvilla d girlz whom I could actually call ma frendz were Shruti, Arti n Yamini. Shruti n Arti r very sweet n pleasant people, they r very down 2 earth n dey don’t fake it. Shruti n Yamini were my roomies 4rm d beginning n Arti joined us later. They r very lovely n decent girlz, I really enjoyed in their company n loved ’em as ma roomies. V were always 2gether n never had any hard or competitive feeling amongst us. V felt very bad as Arti left d show a bit early, but still v 3 stuck 2gether always. V had d strongest bond of friendship in Splitsvilla. V had so much fun 2gether. I simply love ’em! Another girl dt I really liked in d show wuz Hoorzan, d first day I met her I quite really liked her n den when I came 2 know her more I started liking her more. Some qualities of her apart 4rm her stunning appearance which I really liked were her straightforward attitude, her lively spirit, her elegance, her intelligence, her smiley face, …..n I’ll keep on writing. She was d actual combination of beauty with brains. Luv u, Hoor.

The girls you didn’t like at all? Why?
The girlz I didn’t like inSsplitsvilla at all would b Prianca, Bosky & Hannah.

Prianca- Coz she is very manipulative, she is not at all classy, one SHAMELESS chick on d show.

Bosky- Very clever, good @ fighting n dominating people, she plays mind games with every1, but I think she’s gonna fall in her own trap.

Hannah- Just one word 4 u: Ultra-Pretentious.

Your experience at Splitsvilla?
My experience @ Splitsvilla wuz simply amazing, all those things that I’ve never experienced in my life I got 2 experience here. I got a chance of getting my makeup done 4rm an expert, going 4 a photo shoot (Gee! It was my first time), flying 2 Goa all by myself, staying there among 20 girls (sounded scary to me), no upper hand of my folks, all those competitions, trying my hands on bitching, plotting n everything. A mind-blowing party, a chance 2 meet Sikander Kher, n d most exciting part – I got 2 c RANNVIJAY everyday (I know u Rannvijay fans must b jealous.. he! he!, well every1 luvs RV. In fact I got so lost that I almost forgot d 2 guyz!) Another gud thing bout Splitsvilla was when v got a chance 2 meet ^Raghu^ ( was trying 2 make horns, it suits him J) For me Splitsvilla was a dream come true, it was soooo gud, wish I could stay longer, but had no choice.

Would you come back if you had the chance?
If given a choice of coming back 2 d show, I would choose not 2 come coz I feel that d time when I left Splitsvilla was apt for me, as things were getting worse n I don’t want 2 b a part of d mudslinging happening there n anywayz I believe dat all gud things should come 2 an end, so am happy n contended missing d lovely things happened 2 me there.

How does it feel be eliminated?
I have never been eliminated or dumped by any guy in my whole life. Rather I have dumped guys so it feels bad. But I hardly give a shit now coz d guys suck big time.

Reason for elimination?
I got eliminated coz I wasn’t very gud with flirting. I don’t believe in flirting. I believe in love. I could not form a connection with the 2 strangers. Love is a beautiful thing and it can’t be faked. It comes naturally. Also the other girls were very gud with flirting and faking it. But I don’t regret anything coz this is the way I am. Love it or leave it.

Your pick from the two boys?
I pick Varun. He is cute and gud 2 talk 2. But Vishal, though he is gud 2 look at, but he sucked when he opened his mouth.

Who among the girls has the best chance to win the boys?
I think Shradha is sugar-coated. She has been into drama for 4 bloody years. She is very gud in pretending and faking things. So she has a gud chance of winning as she has a gud connection with Vishal also.

Your friends in Splitsvilla?
AARTI, YAMINI AND ANUBHA were my room-mates and we had a blast in the show. They r gud friends.

The girl you didn’t like at all?
I hate Shradha, Henna and Ritu to the core coz they were actually playing games and were manipulative. They were all very clever, cunning and fake..

Your experience at Splitsvilla?
My experience was very gud. I got 2 learn a lot. It was gud 2 actually live with 20 girls bitching and gossiping about each other. It was fun. We got the best of the treatment in the beautiful villa.

Would you come back if given a chance?
Yes, I would definitely cum back and play all sorts of game this time. Now that I know each one of them nicely I can actually bajao their band…! Probably use those 20 galiyaan in the dare on these girls. As helping verbs. He he he….

MTV Splitsvilla – Episode No. 4

Ouch!! that must have hurt Vishal. On Saturday 7 pm, when I sat to watch MTV Splitsvilla, it seemed to be just like any other Splitsvilla show. Well, predictability is not really the second name of this show. Watching the the petite and also potential love interest of Vishal being ‘unceremoniously’ dumped this week is what can be described as an unexpected turn of events. Splitsvilla is now becoming more and more difficult for the girls to keep up their good-n-friendly nature and show their true colors. Each one is gradually warming up to the fact that, it is not all fun and games on this Show.

From the very glam and sensuous looking bath tub task to the date on the yacht, to the bickering, gossips, politics to envious glances, flying tempers to planning and strategy building in front of the camera and behind it. In all which looks like a lot many unanswered questions, the show is turning into something more that what looks simply looks like a video from the Indian version of MTV Grind(remember the late night shows on MTV long before it turned purely desi.)

So read on as I list the various events that finally led to the the elimination of Annie Krislinzki.

‘Not the Early birds types ‘

There was a big commotion as the sleepy heads came to know about the news that this time the girl to leave Splitsvilla would be selected by the girls themselves. The girls started discussing about how this is not at all fair and how they could not betray their friends.
Then they got a note asking the girls to come in their swimming costumes to the beach where the guys – Vishal and Varun were waiting for them. The girls were overjoyed ‘coz the name ‘beach’ and ‘boys’ does have a certain excitement to it, doesn’t it? So, the girls went to their rooms to get ready. I couldn’t stop laughing to see Annie putting on make-up? Have to give the girl some credit for trying to look her best even in the midst of sand and water.

Girls play it hard
So the girls lined up and Ranvijay announced the new task. There was a tub filled with soap water. The girls had to find some small hearts that were put in the water. The first 3 girls who would find the heart would get a chance to date with the guys(hmmm, now that is the new twist). So the girls got into their swimming suits and jumped right in to find the hearts.

Ritu was the first one to find the heart,(when she stepped into the tub, she felt the heart piece beneath her toes. So then started the frantic search for the heart pieces. All the girls were trampling over each other. Some of them stood their ground and kept searching, while some others could not take the rolling, the slipping and being pushed over, so they exited without too much effort.

Hearts Seekers

The girls who won the challenge were – Ritu, Bosky and Annie. Whereas the girls in the ‘Dumping Zone’ were Shraddha, Anubha, Prianca, Heena, Hannah and Yamini. Out of which, Prianca, Anubha and Shraddha became safe. After the results, all the girls went back to their rooms. As a reward for winning the task, the girls got a chance to call up the guys for a talk. Annie called up Vishal and spoke for a while, while they both turned red and shy.(Wonder how much they could have spoken in front of the camera. A tiny hint of this show being staged seems to arise.)

The Date
The next day the 3 winners got ready to go for the date. They were taken near a river side, where they saw the boys coming towards them in a yacht. Annie seemed to be the lucky one as this was the third time she was dating with both the guys. She also took extra efforts to make heart shaped cards for both the boys. Ritu was very happy to be on this date as she hadn’t yet got a chance to open with the guys. The date seemed to go well without any controversies.

The Games girls play

When the girls were on the yacht enjoying the date, the remaining back at splitsvilla got the news that they had to vote out one of the girls in the Dumping Zone. So when the 3 girls returned, the discussions already started as to who is going to vote out against whom.

Group isms, allegations, schemes to kick off the weakest link and much more started off. And yes, Bosky does seem to have a major hand in what is being decided in the villa. Because the girls seem to buzz around each and every thing she says. Then the girls in the Dumping zone started going around convincing the others not to vote them out.

At one end, Prianca and Hannah were seen discussing as to how to prevent the rest from voting Hannah out. On the other end, Annie, Yamini and Shrusti were seen discussing about how Boski is planning to oust Yamini out. Annie also goes to say that though in front of the cameras, Bosky said that whoever gets the majority votes will be dumped, she did make a plan to eliminate Yamini.
Annie also convinces Yamini that she would not vote her out.

The Votes for Dumping

Well, it looked like the typical dumping, but because I saw the trailers where Raghu comes in the show, I knew there was going to be some new twist to the patterns of the show. And so it began. The girls in the Dumping Zone were made to stand at one end and the remaining girls were passed chits to write the name of the girl they wanted to vote out. Till then it was all simple.

Then steps in Raghu(who by the way really is trying too hard to create the effect of ‘Bad Man’ from Roadies 4, Gulshan Grover). He tried that on Roadies 5.0 with his standard slow-motion march upto Ranvijay and some drum beating music playing in the background. Then Ranvijay and Raghu half-hug each other as if they haven’t met for days on end. After all that sham, Raghu askes each of the girls to call out the names of the people they want out. Till then the show did make sense. But here onwards, it looked entirely staged.

Was Annie’s Vote-out staged?
Raghu one by one asked each girl whom they voted out. Most of them said Yamini for various reasons. However, before it was Annie’s turn, he asked the girls in the Dumping Zone to call out names of people they were sure would not vote them out. All the girls called out names of people who didn’t vote them out. Even Yamini called out Annie’s as one of the people who she thought didn’t vote her out.

Right after that Raghu asked Annie to read out whom she voted. And the name was Yamini. After that he did not ask the rest to read out whom they voted out, which seemed really strange. Then started the whole talk by Raghu, as if he had seen this before hand. He started saying about how ‘trust’ is the most important thing in a relationship and how Annie had broken that trust. So Annie was the one to go instead of Yamini who got most of the votes.

Bosky Vs. Annie
Well, if it can be said so, Annie could not believe that she was going back home. Evryone looked stunned at the turn of events. She then went on to say how Bosky was the mastermind behind all the votes having Yamini’s name and how she controls all the proceedings at Splitsvilla. (Well, eh, Annie you voted out Yamini , too..)But Annie said a lot more things which gives an idea of how politics and its dirty games have started in Splitvilla.

And guys, don’t worry, I’m guessing, Annie is going to come back and so is Hoorzan.

So let me know your views, reviews on whether you think Annie’e vote out was staged.

Rannvijay is not marrying with Anusha – Good News For GALS

Rannvijay is enjoying himself!

Is that why Rannnvijay takes the “just good friends” stand about fellow VJ Anusha Dandekar?

From being the winner of the first season of the hit reality show Roadies, to hosting the show now, how has the journey been so far?

As soon as I finished Roadies, the channel offered me a three-month contract. I have been involved with Roadies ever since. As a Roadie I just did my thing. There were no responsibilities involved, but as a host, I have tremendous responsibility.

You have been part of Roadies since its inception, how has the show changed in terms of
contestants?

People who were there for the first two or three seasons were not well aware of what a Roadie was required to say or do. It was only after a few seasons that people came to understand the kind of recognition that a Roadie takes home. This made the participants more wary and everybody suddenly wanted to become a Roadie. Now the contestants are tougher and more ambitious. They play their politics even before the elimination round happens and they know who’s going home. To ensure that the game does not become predictable, we introduce twists and turns in the show.

Mumbai Cutting, Toss… You seem to be on a roll. Tell us more about Bollywood calling?

Before Roadies happened, I had set my mind to join the Army. But after winning the show, things changed drastically for me. Suddenly, I found myself bagging a three-month contract with the channel. It was risky though, because I didn’t know what would happen after those three months.

What is the kind of life that you are trying to promote with shows like Splitsvilla and Roadies?

Our aim is to entertain people. With our shows we are not telling people to lead life in a certain manner.

What would your reply be to detractors who say that such shows promote backstabbing and encourage teenagers to adopt a ruthless image?

We don’t provide scripts to our contestants. Everything you see is natural. Cut-throat competition brings out the best and worst in everyone and if by seeing this on television, somebody thinks that we are trying to promote a certain type of image then he/she is definitely living in fool’s paradise. This is
happening everywhere.

You said that in Roadies, before every task is performed by the contestants, you and Raghu do the tasks yourselves. Which was the scariest task you have done so far?

I almost died while performing a water task in Malaysia during the Rodies 5.0 edition. That was the scariest task for me.

Would you be part of a reality show like Big Brother or Bigg Boss?

I’ve already been part of a show that was extremely popular and challenging. I don’t want to rule out anything for the future but for the time being, I wouldn’t like to take part in any reality show, unless it’s something like Amazing Race.

Would you let your girlfriend participate in Splitsvilla?

Of course, why not? I would definitely encourage her to go for a show like this.

So, who are you dating these days?

Nobody. I’m single but not ready to mingle.

But what about the rumours we keep hearing of you and Anusha Dandekar being a couple?

(Laughs) I’m only 25 for God’s sake! Anusha and I are good friends. I guess this rumour was generated during the Abhi-Ash marriage, when everybody was trying to link up everyone possible! That’s how our name also got listed.
